Educational Research

Petten Consulting has been conducting research in and around educational institutions for a number of years. Through various projects and positions, they use various education indicators to evaluate the efficacy of programs on beneficiaries that range from early childhood to older adulthood. They are keenly aware of the benefits of supplementing quantitative indicators with qualitative indicators in education research to highlight the subjective experience of gaining an education and its subsequent economic, political and social impact. They have taken this approach to demonstrating the benefits of education through several projects for organizations such as Right To Play and UNICEF, and with multiple universities, government departments, and other civil society organizations.

Our consultants also sit on various boards and committees in addressing deep and systemic social issues through educational means and approaches. They also frequently present and conduct workshops at various educational institutions and conferences in Canada and the United States around evaluation, research and working with children and young people.
