The consultants at Petten Consulting have developed their group facilitation skills through several evaluation-related projects and during their teaching practice. In addition to the logic model workshops conducted for a theatre program and an arts-based youth mentorship program, they facilitated a community consultation for a community health centre which sought to establish an interagency collaborative on addressing chronic health issues in a low income, newly-immigrated community in Toronto. One of the purposes of the consultation was to seek consensus on divisive issues within the community health sector and ways of collaborating. Customized group facilitation methods were developed and deployed during the consultation to seek consensus on divisive issues within the community health sector and ways of collaborating. Nick and Jenna have also been requested several times to guest lecture on topics related to evaluation at various universities and colleges across North America.
