With a firm belief that community challenges are complex and intersectional, Petten Consulting continually seeks opportunities for interagency collaboration that will strengthen the overall capacity of a sector. We recently conducted a community consultation for a community health centre which sought to establish an interagency collaborative to address chronic health issues in a low income, newly-immigrated community in Toronto. The consultation sought to identify the role and activities of each agency, opportunities for partnership and how to sustain the collaborative. Nick also currently sits on the board of directors for the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society which seeks to build sector-wide capacity in evaluation. As a board member, Nick has taken on specific projects on partnership and professional development.
